Lewis' Nissan Silvia PS13

Lewis bought this car as show car and he knew it required a bit of work but it wasn't an issue as he wanted to rebuild it as a drift car.

Lewis removed the engine and carried out a small bit of rust removal and a lot of fabrication work such as tubbing the arches, reinforcing the Tension Rod Brackets and Lower Control Arms.

Whilst the parts were out he painted them to keep them looking fresh.

Lewis blanked all holes and gave it a fresh coat of paint.

With the engine bay freshly painted, it definitely gives it that show look which he is looking for!

As he reassembles his PS13 he cleans and paints everything along the way.

The Cam Covers have been painted in a wrinkle black to finish the look as well as replacing all the gaskets and fittings for brand new ones.

Once the engine went back in, Lewis mocked up some custom boost pipes and welded it together at the workshop. He relocated the power steering reservoir and finally a gktech brass shifter collar fitted  and extended the shifter 2”.

Here is a 'Before & After' picture of the engine bay. This is still an ongoing project so next will be giving the diff a clean and painting the subframe.
